After spending nine wonderful and challenging years as a high school teacher and vice-principal, Laurie sought a new challenge and career. Born and raised in Southern California, she ventured north for law school and now resides in Vallejo, the gateway to the Napa Valley, with her goofy golden retriever, Zoe.

Over the years, Laurie chaired a local Commission and served as a CASA (Court appointed Special Advocates) volunteer. Currently, she serves on the LMU Alumni Board of Directors and the Sever College of Science and Engineering Executive Committee.  Laurie loves traveling, early morning work-outs, cooking & entertaining, food & wine and a good book. If you are in the Bay Area, Laurie would be glad to be your tour guide in Napa and Sonoma!
