Scott A. Freedman is a Senior Trial Counsel for WFBM. He specializes in all areas of litigation, including products liability, toxic torts, employment law, and general liability cases. Scott is a highly successful litigator with over 42 jury trials and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), one of the preeminent national organizations for experienced trial attorneys. The subject matter of these trials are quite diverse and include products liability, toxic torts, medical devices, employment law, security cases, premises liability, and general negligence. Scott has represented a broad range of both small and large companies.

In 2011, Scott was selected by The Daily Journal as one of the top Employment Attorneys in California for his work in social media and its effects on employment law.

Scott was the trial lawyer in the Appellate Case of Cruz v. HomeBase (2000) 83 Cal.App.4th 160, which is still good law today and often cited in cases involving punitive damages and managing agents. Cruz v. HomeBase narrowed the scope of the California Supreme Court case of White v. Ultramar, involving punitive damages by restricting the definition of "managing agent".

In his spare time, Scott likes to travel and has travelled extensively around the world. Scott also enjoys theatre and movies, as he does live in Hollywood!
